Gentlemen,

BMW upgraded their iDrive systems in 2009 (CIC) which allows for DVDs to be played using the in-dash DVD system. Unfortunately, we are greeted with a "For your safety, video is only available when parked" message and and blank screen.




TVinMOTION for 2009+ BMW iDrive

The smartTV module acts as a safety override so you can decide if you would like this option enabled or not, allowing full video while the vehicle is motion for passengers on those long trips.



Product Specifications:

- InstallAID LED shows correct installation and status
- Intuitive Setup menu for easy customization

Enable video while vehicle is in motion
Overrides video interlock at 3km so DVD feature can be displayed while driving.

Permissions:
You can select for this smartTV features to be enabled/disabled through a simple command via the blinker stalk in case the vehicle is driven by someone other than you.
