That's a loaded question. In my experience, it's really hard for me to feel performance differences between blends of gasoline since the ECU can compensate for a lot. I have several reasons for using non-ethanol gasoline:

- Ethanol laced gasoline, depending upon the percentage, provides lower mpg
- Ethanol will readily dissolve water so any moisture in the gas could become an issue

And finally, there's the philosphical objections that I have to the forced use of ethanol blended gasoline
