Bitburg's 1/4 mile and HPDE tracks open back up on May 13-15th. I SHOULD be there on the 14th bright and early to get some runs in. Last year the track was prepped pretty decently and there was only about a 20 minute wait between runs which isn't too bad all in all. Entry fee for the day is about 15-20 euros which gets you as many runs as you can get in and you must have a helmet. If you dont have a helmet you can rent one of theirs for the day for 25 euros and they will give you 20 euros back when you return it at the end of the day. Your car will have to pass a safety inspection prior (tires, glass, leaks.....)to registering for racing.
Bitburg brings in some pretty decent cars. Most of them run in the 12-14.00 second range which is respectable IMHO for an old plane runway.
Heres a video of me(Silver C6 Corvette with trashed RFT's) and a SRT4(full slicks and running 20psi) from last season.
