add oil? and weird smell...
last night I got the low oil control message. I was on my way to dinner so I figured I would just grab a quart when I was done. got back in my car after dinner and all was fine. no control message. checked oil level and it says max. went out and bought a quart anyway to keep in the trunk for the next time it happens. have driven around a bit today, all is still well. was it just a glitch? or do I still need to add the quart? obviously I don't want to add any if all systems are OK right now.
other thing... I've been noticing a strange smell when I get out of my car, almost like burning plastic. what could this possibly be?
