My waterbed story: Ex-wife and I had a waterbed at one time. One night I woke up to find the sheets and area around my crotch was soaking wet. I was horrified thinking I'd somehow had an "accident." How embarrassing. I got up and checked under the sheets and didn't see a leak. Just wetness. Still confused. Then I pressed down on the mattress and a little fountain appeared. Apparently one of our cats had managed to poke a tiny hole in the mattress with his claw. The hole was so small it sort of self-sealed until there was some pressure around it. I was soooo relieved, I was pumping my fist in the air and yelling, "Yes! Yes!" The ex woke up and thought I had lost my mind for being so psyched about a hole in the mattress.  |
