Now there are saiyngs that X2 was kinda single-case design language car, and due to its "too much of conventional coupe" design and higher price it wasn't successful from sales perspective. But let's check the facts and compare the production volume of the three published years of X2 with the same years of X4:

2018:
X2: 67,576
X4: 66,792

2019:
X2: 91,812
X4: 61,569

2020:
X2: 74,229
X4: 55,237

While it doesn't necessary represent the financial performance, the volume clearly shows the popularity of the model among the customers. And I think the comparison of sales between X2 and X4 makes much more sense than to compare the X2 with the "mainstream" SUV designed car like X1. I really think the new X2 will loose its uniqueness for the sake of unifying the design language among the carlines.

So how do you guys feel about the changes the X2 is going to face?
there are valid concerns that the X2 might lose its distinctive appeal in the process
