Toyota hedged it’s bet on Solid state, or more likely EV 2.0, to be fair it’s not the wrong position to be in and this is at best half hearted because they need to when they finally realize it may not be as easy as they initially thought

Wouldn’t matter, Toyotas loyal fanatics will eat this up regardless of its problems.
