It’d likely go like this
- Toyota yet again proves they are the biggest losers in the EV game and they’d become obsolete in 5 years, hybrid tech is wrong and Toyota will drown by its failure
- Tesla is GOAT of EV and will be so for the next 10 or so years until others catch up because… reasons, and it’s always 10 years, because he says so
- future is great because everyone can drive a 2 second 0-60 car, as if it’s the only single metric all 8 billion people on earth care about
-2030 is the set date of EV evolution, and it’s cast in Granite by Almighty Elon and will never change because he says so, as if politics, economy, war, supply issues, climate change, superviruses, food insecurities, infrastructures required, electrical supply issues, labour issues, does not exist, of course because that’s for the plebs to worry
-probably something about destroying everyone in the forum in debating with ‘facts’, or maybe alternative facts I guess…

Toyota hedged it’s bet on Solid state, or more likely EV 2.0, to be fair it’s not the wrong position to be in and this is at best half hearted because they need to when they finally realize it may not be as easy as they initially thought
Wouldn’t matter, Toyotas loyal fanatics will eat this up regardless of its problems.
