I had my car in for service last weekend and they gave me a 2022 X3 loaner with the perforated Sensatec (which I believe was new for this model year). I actually thought it was really comfortable and honestly, if I didn't know it was not real leather I don't think I'd have been able to tell.
I have the Vernasca in my current car but would be fine with the perforated Sensatec going forward.
