The spare I mentioned earlier in this thread fits perfectly in the well without any trouble. I posted a picture further back.
The brake clearance is not just about offset. The front calipers are large *radially* too. My attitude is, I will likely never need this. But if I do and manage to have a front flat, then I have what I need to get home safely.
