My self-contained VM with ISTA+ 4.27.31 preinstalled is now available on Google Drive. The total compressed size is ~26GB, with the files split between 2 Google accounts because each has a 15GB free storage limit. It not necessary to download or install any of the ISTA+ or other files from MEGA.NZ.
The following "BMW ISTA+ 4.27.31 Install.txt" file contains the step-by-step installation procedure and the download links. It is not necessary to download any of the ISTA or other files from MEGA.NZ.

You can install the VM onto an external USB drive, but it will be slower than on an internal drive.
