Congrats on your order and welcome to the UK 2.0i Petrol club - we are a fairly small (but growing) unit
I think most people have chosen Petrol when their annual mileage is quite low and/or for more frequent shorter journeys - these are the normal logical reasons to avoid Diesel.
I had my test drive in a Diesel version as there were no available Petrol versions back in January (even at other dealers) and to be fair I hardly noticed the engine at all.
