I am not bothered about having multiple phones and additional microphone on passenger side etc. The real benefit (if I am right) is having voice control for the navigation system which means you can just tell it to 'navigate to' a post code or address without any manual input. I would check the actual details with you sales person but I think that is what it does.

I don't use it much on my F10, however I wonder if this system is better for MY16?
