OK. This has been seriously bugging me and I can't find any info on whether it's a website glitch or it's actually how UK trims are configured. Descriptions on BMW UK are as ambiguous as they possibly can be, as always!!

BMW UK configurator only shows SE exterior trim, regardless of what engine or trim you chose. Sport and xLine trims only show the standard matt black plastic trim on SE. Wheels, roof rails, window trim and headlights do change. But skirts and front/rear bumper trims don't.

Try it for yourself: mybmw.co.uk/r5t5k4a0 pick any engine, any trim other than SE and you still get SE bumpers/side skirts.

Hopefully, it's just a website glitch.
