Most BMWs ARE appropriate for track days.. and since you asked.. I happened across this X1 track day thread just a few days ago

As far as I am concerned.. the X1 is very similar to other models like the Subaru Forester... they are SUVs that have a low center of gravity, wide stance, powerful motors that can be tuned... so yes.. people will also track them.


Agree wholeheartedly on the MINI... and the naivette with respect to FWD
