MB can throw all the freakin' HP they want at their sh!ty product... as long as they continue their primary build philosophy, they will never drive or perform like a BMW. Every rag I've read has described MB/AMG perfectly... they're like an old school muscle car with ultra nice amenities.
Far, far from true a BMW competitor.
Just so my opinion is clear... AMG builds amazing power plants. I just don't get the whole "throwing pearls to the swine" part of this execution.
