PA system

I am thinking to put a PA system on my m4. There are so many dumbasses on the road that I want to be able to speak out like "turn your headlights on sir". Have anyone had them on a f8x? I think this would be such a fun and cheap mod to put on my car. [IMG][/IMG]

Ah yes a a BMW driver telling other drivers they are partaking in driving dumbassery, that should go over great. I’d go ahead and get it and please get a dashcam to record ensuing hijinks.

Engine bay seems very tight.
I am think about mounting it behind the grill in front of the radiators.

I've seen slimmer speakers that I believe would definitely fit behind the kidney grille

I received my shipment today and am excited to mount it in front of my radiators. Does anyone have suggestions for where to wire it through the firewall? Also is there a battery in the front of the car that I can connect to? Thanks guys!

Ah, the memories...my dad wired a PA system into his Dodge back in the day. The speaker was mounted behind the grill and routed back behind the firewall, where the main unit and CB-style mike was mounted. The car had much more space in the engine bay than a modern BMW though

he was on the city council and used the car in parades and stuff - no idea if it was even legal for him, but no LEO ever said anything to my knowledge - and I certainly have no idea whether it's legal for a 'civilian' to have.

But once my friends and I got ahold of that car all kinds of shenanigans ensued...mostly to publicly embarrass each other and act like idiots like that 'hey good lookin' guy in the video above.

We never thought to use it to cuss or road rage at other motorists...it probably would've gotten us shot
