Can anyone explain what the 2 bulbs in the inner taillight assembly are along with a picture? I know the inner most bulb (BA15S) is the fog light but there is a smaller bulb next to it towards the outside. Wonder what that is for?

To use rear fogs as additional brake lights (when rear fog switch not activated):
3065 LceLampMapping4 —>
Mapping_Bremsl_2_L_output —> nsl_l
Mapping_Bremsl_2_R_output —> nsl_r

This one worked for me too, the initial post has to many steps which may not be necessary.

Question though has anyone understood the purpose of the bulb between the rear fog lamps and brake light? It’s a small little bulb - no idea what it’s for

Normal taillight assembly has
Rear lights
Reverse lights
Blinkers
Fog light
Parking light
Brake light

I am not sure wiring diagram only shows the following for the inner taillight

Fog, reversing and standinglight (park + normal light).
