Rear Coil Springs
Anybody had to replace rear coil springs?
In UK car is a 2016 and out of warranty both rear springs need replaced. Trying to find replacement parts. Seems to be main dealer only at £122 each. Anybody any advice on an alternative? |

My thoughts exactly!
knightarmor. What symptoms do you have that leads you to ask the question?

The only time I've ever had to have a spring replaced was when it literally snapped, rendering the car undriveable (E39 530d Touring, front spring). What are the signs and symptoms that led to that diagnosis out of interest?

I was just asking, as stated by the other reply, the only time I've seen a spring require replacement was when it snapped. My suspension is fine. I use OEM setup in the winter and KWs in the spring/summer on our X1.
