Finally taken the plunge
Hi agai ,
After some research and finally getting a test drive I have placed my order for a X1 18i Manual xLine in Mineral Grey with the following options: - Sports seats - Extended interior light pack - Brushed aluminium interior trim - Sun protection glass - Parking sensors front/rear inc Park Assist - BMW advanced speaker system - Autodimming rear view mirror - Spacesaver spare wheel Now the patient wait begins!! Interestingly I see that the CO2 quoted on the order form has increased from 121 g/km quoted in the brochure (and online Configurator) to 132 g/km. I’ve been advised this reflects revised testing that is coming into force. This just slips it into the next First year VED bracket - £200 vs previous £160. |

That really is interesting, because my order form for the 1.5i Dual-clutch Auto Transmission specifically states CO2 at 122g/km and Year 1 RFL at £160.00. By comparison, my Q3 with the 1.4TFSI and DSG box is 136 g/km. |

There must be changes afoot that we’re not fully aware of yet arising from tightening of emissions controls. I must be on the wrong side of the cut off point for either order date or expected build date.
