Why can´t BMW produce cars with full LED lights as standard (at least an option) in year 2017!? All other brands (include low cost models like Toyota) offer cars with full LED lights (at least tail lights), but BMW are so fucking (!) boring with this. Its actually awkward with incandecent bulbs.

BMW keeps them for the facelift (LCI)

The X2 have some personality it seems, not the boring look of it's twin - the X1.
But it's the UKL, and by that, i'm not expecting much more than perhaps a good look, the tech is not fully BMW standards, sad!

This!! I refuse to buy any car in 2017 without full LED, I dont care whats under the hood!?!?!

I know, and its a shame.

Mercedes does it in another way. The new MB E-class Coupe has OLED tail lights from beginning. I´m sure they will make some hot stuff with their facelift of it also.

I own an X3 that I quite like, but would like a slightly smaller/sportier/lighter SAV as my next vehicle with the same power levels of the X3 28i (for this size 250HP would be enough for me)

Errrm, those are a major BMW X design cue!! As big as the BMW kidney grill or halo rings. It wouldn't be a BMW X without those fog lights.

Wow! I wish I would have waited till, summer to buy a new vehical, it would have been the X2 over the 2017 X1 I just bought. Don't get me wrong the X1 is a very nice little SUV but the X2 looks so much more aggressive. Will it have a 3.0l option?

Updated April 20, 2017:

The BMW X2 has now taken to the Nurburgring for high performance testing (photos below).

Based on our updated BMW model pipeline thread, the F39 X2 will come to the US in sDrive28i, xDrive28i, and xDrive M35i models. The X2 will also receive some interesting options not available on the X1: 19" RFT or 20" non-RFT with M Sport, adaptive suspension (likely as a part of M Sport), Galvanic Gold paint, and Guidance Package.
