ODB2 Scanner for Google Pixel 8

Hi all,

I've been having trouble with my Veepeak BLE+ adapter and my new Google Pixel 8.

I can get the two connected (Pixel > Veepeak) but, once I open BimmerLink or BimmerCode and select Veepeak as my OBD2 scanner, it just hangs and never connects fully.

The adapter worked fine with my iPhone 15 Pro up until this past weekend and still works with my wife's iPhone 15.

Any ideas? Or any suggestions for a new (hopefully more compatible) OBD2 scanner?

Thanks

get yourself ISTA and an enet cable.

best scanner you can use and enet cable is only about $15 USD off amazon.

Yeah, I already have one, but I don't have my laptop with me all the time.

I also need an "on the go" solution though

Noone else with a Pixel 8?

I can't even get Torque Pro to communicate with the car with this phone...

I might just try one of the other devices listed in the BimmerCode app that's available on Amazon

In case it could be of interest to anyone else, I bought the Vgate iCar Pro from Amazon

After select it from the BimmerCode menu, you get a second option to choose and, for some strange reason, Vlink (and not Vgate) is the only option that gets it working correctly.

Cheers
