Service requiremants

Hi All ,
My 2018 now has 57k milage and is due next oil service in 5k miles , it had its spark plugs changed at 30K and I replaced the air filter last week as I replaced a broken air intake pipe. It will have done 63K when service is ready, does anybody know what else will be required please
anything major required ?

i’d do a transmission fluid change too as bmw recommends around 60k mark.

Here is the list I use, which came from the Owners Manual:

Standard operations for all maintenance activities:
  • Verify Check Control messages.
  • Check indicator and warning lights.
  • Reset CBS display.
  • Inspect tires, check tire pressure and reset Tire Pressure Monitor.
  • Check parking brake functionality while the vehicle is being driven into the workshop.

Services not indicated by CBS (Conditions Based Service, ie the car's computer)
  • After every 2nd Engine Oil Service: Replace ventilation microfilter.
  • At every 4th Engine Oil Service: Replace engine Intake air cleaner.
  • Spark plugs: At every 6th Engine Oil Service (approximately 60,000 miles)
  • Oxygen sensor Replace at intervals of 120,000 miles

Services monitored by the CBS: (ie do it when the car tells you to)

Engine oil
Change the engine oil and oil filter. 5.3qt 0W-20, LL-14 FE+

Front brakes
Replace brake pads, clean brake pad contact points in calipers.
Brake discs: Check surface and thickness; replace as necessary.

Rear brakes
Replace brake pads, clean brake pad contact points in calipers.
Brake discs: Check surface and thickness; replace as necessary.
Parking brake: Repair or replace parking brake shoes/linings only if a reduction in the brake's effectiveness is noted.

Vehicle check Upon Maintenance work:
  • Check operation of horn, headlight flasher and hazard warning flashers.
  • Check instrument and control lighting and heater/air-conditioning blower.
  • Check lighting system: turn signals, back-up, license plate, interior (incl. map, reading lights), glovebox, luggage area lights.
  • Safety belts: Check condition and function.
  • Check windshield wipers and washer jet positions.
  • Tires: Check tread depth, wear pattern, outer condition, inflation pressure. If necessary, correct pressure. Reset tire pressure monitor.
  • 12V Battery: Check state of charge (magic eye) and charge if required.
  • Visually inspect all SRS airbag units for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of stickers.
  • Rear-view mirrors, optional rear-view camera.
  • Engine coolant: Check fluid level and concentration.
  • Windshield washer and intensive cleaning systems: Check protection level, fluid level; top off if necessary.
  • Brake system connections and lines: Check for leaks, damage and correct positioning.
  • Underbody, incl. all visible parts (i.e., transmission, rear axle, fuel lines, exhaust system): Check for damage, leaks and corrosion.
  • Steering components: Check for clearance, leaks, damage and wear.

Final Inspection after any maintenance work:
  • Road test with check of:
  • Brakes
  • Steering
  • Shock absorbers (visual)
  • Transmission

Putting all the faith in the digital systems, but that's BMW
