I am struggling getting addresses into the navigation system either from Contacts or Messages - not sure what is going on. If I click on the address I do not get the option to start navigation

There's usually an icon with a chequered flag in the left bar that you need to click on

You don't immediately get the start navigation option icon as you do when you manually enter an address
