To input a route you have sent to the car is as follows. Scroll down the Menu to Connected Drive. Then scroll down and look in Messages. You will see unopened symbols of little envelopes. Click on the unopened envelope and it will show the address you have sent from your PC or phone. Click on the address and it asks if you want to start navigation.

I am struggling getting addresses into the navigation system either from Contacts or Messages - not sure what is going on. If I click on the address I do not get the option to start navigation

There's usually an icon with a chequered flag in the left bar that you need to click on

You don't immediately get the start navigation option icon as you do when you manually enter an address
