LOL, X2 is the cross-over in 4 doors version when it is supposed to be a 2-door (2 series are coupes) of the 2-doors 1 series hatchback (which is supposed to be a 4-door, because odd number series)... mind burnt and blown...
the craziness is back on track, after a couple of months in the break room. X1 will be FWD, good to know this X2 will be Xdrive Only (=AWD) for those who haven't caught on the BMW difference between Sdrive and Xdrive. With the upcoming 1 series going FWD, has BMW officially announce the Fdrive nomanclature yet ? Can't wait to get my X1 Fdrive 3.5is M-sport !?!

BMW: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7-Series, X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, Z4
Mercedes: A, B, C, E, G, M, S-Class, CL, CLA, CLS, GL, GLA, GLK, SL, SLK, SLS Audi: A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, TT, Q3, Q5, Q7, R8 (likely more to come...) Not sure why everyone is complaining and acting like BMW is the only one coming out with models. They're all doing it and they're doing it their own way... |

The SUV remains the top growth concept in the automotive industry. If you don't have an SUV then you are in trouble. Have GM got more SUVs than BMW? The USA bound F48 BMW X1 will only be available as xDrive also.

At this pace, next year BMW will announce the -1 Series, -2 Series... -X1, -X2...
Audi will be first, and then BMW will follow the negative number trend, they will find a market for it. |

Gm only has 3 SUVs. Acadia, terrain, Yukon. And Chevy are just the same as that. BMW are trying to fill every possibility of cars while increasing the price and decreasing build quality. The one SUV they really need is a large 3 row SUV with trunk space to compete with the escalade and gl and lx. Americans and China do not want small crummy fwd SUVs. Someone looking at a rav4 isn't cross-shopping a BMW SUV.

I had to check the date, I thought it was April 1st... Lol what a joke. So is x4 or this x2 the competitor to the upcoming GLA...
And on a sidenote it says, 5 Door paceman coming.. I thought the Paceman was a 2 door countryman? |

So across the GM spectrum then about 9 or 10 SUVs in all formats? Don't forget the European GM models too? China will be getting an X1L an extended wheelbase of the new X1, which will be built in China along with the standard X1.

Thank god BMW is filling another huge void in the marketplace.
And yet, no rear wheel drive 3er wagon with a stick in the US. Unfuckingbelievable.
