Bought a couple of small things so far.

BMW all weather mats, Boot liner (picked it up today), mud flaps, new fog lamps.

Replaced my old keyring with one of these:

It's a BMW lanyard that I simply cut short. Two parts detach, which is what I wanted. Part number is 80282411111. Bought mine from eBay for £7.20 inc. p&p.

Also fitted a steering wheel cover from Halfords for £7.99:

M-sport steering wheel is not available as option with xLine here in the UK and I'm not a fan of thin steering wheels at all. The colour is exactly the same, stitches are surprisingly well done and it doesn't look tacky or wonky or stink like the cheap ones on eBay.

Yes. Part number 51472406753. I switched back to velour for the driver. Never liked rubber mats in any of my cars. But passenger seats still have the rubber mat. Snug fit and feel robust enough to outlive the car itself.

This is actually the first mod I did. I've circled it for emphasis.

I did it myself, but seriously guys, take it to a mod shop if you're not 100 percent sure this is something you can tackle.

I can only imagine the laugh the guys at the shop would get if you had them take care of it. Would probably get it up on the lift just so they don't have to bend over, and charge you hour the full hour if they dropped one.

What's next for you? Filling the gas tank, or replacing the wiper blades?
