Hi.
I am slowly completing the parts.
Has anyone noticed any disadvantages of using the car after the modifications? Any problems, mistakes, folding?

Have a nice Sunday!

Hi I'm doing this retrofit and changing led to adaptive led. Which are the steps to coding this upgrade?
Removing 5A4 and adding 552 does the job? Is it necesary to modify Zeitkriterium? Help needed , please

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and just came across this post and was wondering if anyone had anymore info....

I have a 2018 18d M-Sport and looking to put the M-Sport LCI bumper on the front.

I just had a quick question, as I see some members have mentioned that some flaps / airducts need to be removed for the LCI bumper? Can anyone tell me a little more about which bits need to be removed and does it effect operation in anyway?

Thanks in advance

I just finished doing the conversion and the "flaps / duct" I think people are referring to is the radiator air duct.....this is the big plastic air duct that goes around the radiator. I think the issue being is the old version doesn't line up with the newer LCI bumper. so some people remove the flaps that sit on the front of the ducting. I wasn't comfortable doing this and wanted to keep it as OEM as possible, so I just ended up buying the LCI version of the duct, which was around £120 on ebay.

The LCI duct is plug n play and the conversion was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was getting the LCI bumper to sit over the existing bumper foam. I had to trim some of the foam out and it was still a pretty tight fit, other than this its pretty straight forward.

Thanks guys for your insights. I’m 90% done with my conversion, the only headache is finding a plug and play adapter for the fog lights. I bought this part (61 12 8 718 648). One end fitted the light but the other end didn’t fit the older connection.

Could I clarify these please:

1) did you cut and splice the wiring?
2) what are the connector names please?

Thanks

LCI MSport bumper and side trims retrofitted to Xline. Still need to get the fog lights to work.
