Canadians, How long is the wait from Halifax to Toronto?

I Just came back from Maranello. My vehicle was confirmed to be on rail and the ETA was actually yesterday. So it should arrive in the yard tomorrow or Thursday with delivery next week. But I'm not holding my breath

Great, can you track your vehicle on Hansen's trucking with your VIN # at the moment?

I can't see anything on it.

Finally, my X1 arrived in Concord, ON. The ETA is April 27.

It's been a long wait:

Ordered: December 31, 2015
Production: the 6th week of 2016
Arrived in Halifax: March 1, 2016
Arrives at dealership: April 27, 2016 (estimated)

I am gonna contact my salesperson after it actually arrives at the dealership for delivery.

What colour is your's? I drove by the storage lot yesterday and saw my vehicle there and another white X1. So I guess both of ours will be at the dealership on Wednesday. You had ordered your car 2 weeks before me!

Not yet. I'm going to wait until Wednesday before I call him. I didn't see a blue X1 so it must be somewhere else in the lot.

I received dealer's call just now. My sales guy told me that I could pick up my vehicle on Thursday. FINALLY!!! How about yours?

I got the call today. I'm picking it up on Saturday. The funny thing is that I received a call from BMW Canada today to ask if I'm happy with my new car. I told them that I didn't have it and I had no idea when I would. But if I didn't have it soon, I would be driving an Audi instead. That's when the BMW rep went into a bit of a panic and started making phone calls. I expressed my extreme displeasure with the communication process and how disappointed I was. We'll see if they follow up with anything useful.

Maybe because you are such a nice guy who never puts pressure on the salesperson. Last month when the original ETA was getting closer, I text my sales person twice a week to follow up my car. I know it's not his fault that my car was delayed, but he should be the guy who helps communicating and facilitating the entire process. Under my pressure, he agreed to offer me a further discount of $500 dollars OR a free replacement BMW when my previous lease ended. I chose the free ride because I need a car to go to work. He called me just two hours after my car was delivered to the dealer (according to the tracking on Hansen's website). Maybe he is so eager to have my car delivered that I won't put some more kilometres on his brand new replacement BMW.

BMW Canada is disappointing. It was high gloss black window frame which come standard with M Sport Line when I ordered. It is now the chrome frame. My sales doesn't seem to be helpful in this matter. What can I do? Anyone giving me suggestions which one looks better? Thanks

Can understand your frustration. However, it is all a matter of taste and personally I like the chrome surrounds

- I know plenty of others will prefer the black. At the end of the day you have a lovely car and I wish I could have had your M-Sport Steering Wheel on my xLine

I like the chrome also over the black. But I also prefer the look of the xLine over the M so like Bill_P mentioned it is all a matter of personal taste.

I like the chrome too. I'll post pics of mine after I pick it up tomorrow.
