Air vent direction is not changing

Hi Everyone!

I recently bought a 2020 BMW X1 with auto ac and im facing an issue with it.

When i try to change the air direction, the display shows it changing (button works) but nothing really happens and it keeps blowing on the foot only. I tried literally all combinations, auto, manual, inner circulation but nothing helps.

Im thinking that there must be some hardware, fuse, cable issue.

Anyone had something similar? How hard is it to access the mechanics that changes the direction?

Thanks for any advice! Mark

Hi, there is sevo motor near cabin filter, maybe therenis common issue when servo motor is not working, other issue can be that you need calibrate air flow flaps via ista diagnostics, and one more issue- one of the air flow flaps can be broken.
