I have no doubt that this X2 will sell. Just like the X4 and X6 (when it came out). These even numbered Xs are lifestyle vehicles. The consumer demographics that want some sort of practicality but do not want to be associated to the suburban boxy hatched SUVs.
You know those vegan DINKs that wear lululemon while lining up for their soy lattes. Probably owns a small dog and shops at Pottery Barn. Often seen at pillates/yoga venues as opposed to Hockey rinks.
The current FWD-based X1 has become way too vanilla.
