Actually formatting the USB drive to NTFS worked. I used a 64gig drive and FAT32 didn't work initially so formatted to NTFS and it worked. This was suggested by someone in this forum or somewhere can't really remember though.
Glad to hear it worked. For me the FAT32 method worked.
